PRIVACY POLICY
Clear information about your information.
This notice explains what Rural Work Link collects, why we use it and the choices available to you.
Effective August 11, 2026 · Last updated August 13, 20261. Scope and contact
This policy applies to Rural Work Link websites, accounts, forms, listings, communications and payment-related services operated by Ingram AG Services LLC, doing business as Rural Work Link. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@ruralworklink.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, business name, email, telephone number, location and login-related information.
- Listing information: job, business, equipment, service, availability, compensation, descriptions, images and other content you submit.
- Transaction information: package purchased, price, billing status, Stripe customer or transaction identifiers, refunds and subscription status. Card details are entered with and processed by Stripe; we do not intend to store complete card numbers.
- Support and review information: messages, requested changes, moderation decisions and customer-service records.
- Technical information: IP address, device and browser information, logs, pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information and cookies or similar technologies used for security, essential operation and measurement.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and listings; process and verify payments; review, publish, promote and expire listings; communicate receipts, renewal reminders and service notices; respond to support and privacy requests; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security; measure and improve the service; enforce our policies; and comply with law.
4. Public listings
Information you choose to publish in a listing—including the one response email, phone number or website you expressly select—may be visible publicly and may be shared through search results, email or social media. Account contact details are not substituted automatically. Do not submit confidential information, government identifiers, financial-account details or information you lack permission to publish.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the platform, including payment, hosting, database, email, security and analytics providers; to users and the public when you publish a listing; to professional advisers; to authorities or others when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention or rights protection; and in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or asset transfer. We do not sell personal data for money. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide any legally required choices.
6. Stripe payments
Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited transaction and billing information needed to confirm payment, manage subscriptions, handle disputes and maintain records. A payment-success page alone does not establish payment; we rely on verified Stripe confirmation.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with law. Retention periods vary by record type. Customer sign-in links are single-use and expire after 20 minutes; essential sign-in cookies expire after 30 days and can be ended by signing out. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or ask about how it is used, by emailing us. You may also opt out of nonessential promotional email using its unsubscribe method. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. Texas residents may also contact the Texas Attorney General about rights under applicable Texas privacy law.
9. Children
Rural Work Link is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Cookies, links and changes
We may use essential cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences and service performance. Third-party links are governed by their own policies. We may update this notice as the service changes; the updated version applies prospectively from the date posted.
