LISTING RULES

Useful listings. Honest work. No runaround.

These standards apply to job listings, business profiles, equipment and capacity listings, sponsorships and related messages.

Effective August 11, 2026 · Last updated August 13, 2026

1. Be accurate and authorized

Only post information you reasonably believe is current and accurate. You must be authorized to represent the named employer, business, equipment owner or service provider and must have rights to all submitted text, logos and images. Do not impersonate another person or organization.

2. Give people enough information

Use a clear title and category. State the real location or service area, availability, important qualifications, contact or application method and material conditions. Job listings should accurately describe the employer, role, duties, schedule, compensation information when provided, and required credentials. Equipment and capacity listings should disclose material limits and avoid misleading photos or availability claims.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

  • Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing or unsafe content.
  • Discrimination or exclusion that violates employment, housing, public-accommodation or other applicable law.
  • Jobs requiring applicants to pay improper fees, transfer money, cash checks, purchase gift cards or provide sensitive financial credentials.
  • Weapons, controlled substances, stolen goods, adult services, human trafficking, exploitative labor or other unlawful goods or services.
  • Malware, phishing, spam, lead harvesting, pyramid schemes, unrelated keyword stuffing or repeated duplicate listings.
  • Private personal information, government identifiers, bank details or confidential records.
  • False claims of licensing, insurance, verification, affiliation, performance, availability or guaranteed results.

4. Safety, licensing and employment compliance

Businesses and users are responsible for required licenses, permits, insurance, safety programs, wage and hour compliance, worker classification, hiring eligibility and other legal duties. Listings must not ask applicants for protected medical, financial or identity information through public fields. Rural Work Link does not perform background, driving-record, immigration, license or insurance checks unless expressly stated for a specific program.

5. Featured and verified labels

Featured placement means priority positioning, enhanced presentation and promotional priority as described on the Pricing page. A Verified label means only that we completed the verification steps stated for that program at that time. Neither label is an endorsement, warranty or guarantee.

6. Review, changes and removal

Paid publication depends on verified payment and administrative approval. We may request evidence or changes, correct formatting, reject a submission, reduce its reach, suspend it or remove it when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, respond to complaints or protect users. Serious or repeated violations may lead to account suspension without refund.

7. Reporting a concern

Report suspected scams, unsafe content, inaccurate claims, discrimination or rights violations to support@ruralworklink.com. Include the listing title or link and a concise explanation. For emergencies or suspected crimes, contact the appropriate authorities first.
